Q: How much does it cost to rent the club’s
Cessna 172?

A:The cost right
now is $75.00 per hour (wet).

Q:How do I become a member of the CKFC?

A:First, you should
attend a club meeting or function, then schedule an introductory
flight with one of our instructors. We always welcome new
membership.

Q:How long does it take to get a Private
Pilot certificate?

A:The FAA says you
must log 40 hours of flight time before certification.The
national average is around 55-60 hours.

Q:Why should I join the CKFC when there are
aircraft for rent elsewhere?

A:Fun club
activities and extremely reasonable aircraft rental.

Q:I don’t have a pilots license and want to
learn, can I still join the CKFC?

A:Absolutely!!! We
always welcome new membership. We have club members that are FAA
certified instructors and they would love to help you earn your
certificate.

Q:Are club dues expensive?

A:There is a one
time membership fee of $500.00 and monthly dues are $50.00 per
month.

Q:How many aircraft does the CKFC own?

A:We currently have
one (1) Cessna 172, but once membership and club activities
grow, we will purchase others.

Q:Who can join the CKFC?

A:Anyone can join.
